The pottery studio is equipped with 1 test kiln and 2 full-sized computerized kilns, 8 throwing wheels and numerous tools for hand-building. Clay is cone#6 porcelain clay and must be purchased from the Academy of Artisans to prevent contamination. Cost is $20.00 plus GST and PST per bag. The price includes coloured slips, glaze and all firings. Underglazes can be purchased by the students from the school.
